Office Visit

Office Hours

womanaloneOur Practice offers a variety of hours from which to choose from when scheduling your appointment. We offer late evening and Saturday appointments to accommodate those who have difficulty making daytime appointments. In addition, we allocate time in our schedule to care for emergency patients who might be experiencing pain or discomfort. We make every attempt to see these emergency patients the same day that they contact our office.

We also place a high value on our patient’s time and respect their busy schedules. Our staff and doctors consistently make every effort to see our patients promptly at their scheduled appointment times. We never double or triple book our patients. If your appointment time is at 10AM, you are the only patient scheduled with that provider at that time.

Our regular Office Hours are as follows:

Monday: 8 AM – 5 PM
Tuesday: closed
Wednesday: 8 AM – 5 PM
Thursday: 8 AM – 8 PM
Friday: 8 AM – 5 PM
Saturday: 8 AM – Noon

From Memorial Day to Labor Day, the office is open Friday 8AM-4PM and closed on Saturdays.

Pre-Visit Information

In order to expedite your introduction into our dental office systems, we have made available on this webpage all the necessary forms you will need to fill out when you present for your first visit. There are 5 PDFs that will require your attention. Please click on each to download and print. You will then be able to fill out the forms in the comfort of your own home or workplace and at your own pace.  Fill out them to the best of your ability. Should you have any questions in regards to filling them out, we will be glad to help you complete them once you have arrived for your initial visit.

Dental fees vary depending on the individual’s diagnosis and desires.

Insurance and Payment

Prior to the commencement of treatment, a member of our staff or the doctor will discuss with you the projected cost of treatment and the estimated length of treatment. Typically, the doctor will review with the patient the various options for treatment along with their associated costs. Together, the patient and dentist will choose the treatment that best suits the patient’s dental needs and financial considerations.

Our staff will make every attempt to estimate the amount of insurance coverage on each day of treatment, with the patient being responsible for payment of the uninsured portion of the fee. The uninsured portion will be due at the time treatment is rendered. It must be stressed that the insurance coverage  estimate is only an estimate based on the best information we are granted by the insurance carrier. The actual amount due after insurance payments may vary from the initial estimate originally quoted by the insurance carrier.

Dental Insurance claims require time and preparation on the part of our staff. We work hand-in-hand with both you and your insurance carrier to maximize your insurance reimbursement for covered procedures. However, dental insurance may not cover all procedures, or have annual maximums limiting the amount of re-imbursement they will award, or time limitations as to how often they cover a certain procedure.  While we make every attempt to receive reimbursement from the insurance carrier, in the event of a payment dispute, it is the responsibility of the insured to pay their balance here promptly while contacting the carrier to negotiate and settle the matter. When benefits are assigned from the patient to this office, we will deal with your insurance company as a courtesy, but we are only a third party in the contracted relationship between the insurer and the insured. All balances are ultimately the responsibility of the patient or their guardian.

If you have any problems or questions regarding your dental insurance, please ask our staff. They are well-informed and very knowledgeable about the latest trends in the dental insurance industry. Please be sure to bring your insurance card and any other pertinent insurance information with you when you present for your initial visit.

Our goal is to provide our patients with the best dental care possible. To help you receive this optimal care, we offer a variety of payment options, including cash, check, credit card, and CareCredit. Care Credit is a new and popular service we offer our patients here at Fitzpatrick DMD. It is a personal line of credit which allocates money to you specifically for dental treatment.

Upon approval, CareCredit allows you to choose from special financing plans so you can pay for treatment over time. We offer a 3, and 6 month no interest program, and if you think you will need more time, we also offer Extended Payment Plans. With these plans you have 24, 36, or 48 Month programs to choose from which gives you more time to pay off the balance with a reduced interest rate.

Simply click on the CareCredit logo, complete the simple application, and get started with your treatment. You can also call (800) 365-8295 and apply by phone. Or just come by our office and we can process the application for you.

Care Credit……………Our patients love it, and so will you.
